GoTalks communication boards are awesome tools to help people communicate with others. GoTalk 9t is one board that allows 45 messges and 5 recording levels. There is a built in overlay of storage for one to record onto. GoTalk products are about $200.
The Vantage Lite uses the Unity language systems. It offers options for various communication boards. It offers options of 4- to 84- to grow as a person’s communication develops over time. It has a set of icons for several levels with consistent patterns for forming words and phrases.
DynaVox is a company that creates dynamic display devices. Vocabulary is shown through text or graphics on a touch screen. One model the m3 is an example of a helpful augmentative communication device. It can show visual scene displays for people who are more advanced.
